The cottage is full of character, with beamed ceilings and beautiful views and walks in every direction. The Kirkstone Pass rises steeply from the valley from where you can drop down to Ambleside, Troutbeck and Windermere and the Lake Steamers at nearby Glenridding give many extra walking options. A village shop and pub offering food menu in Patterdale, 1 mile and convenience store in Glenridding, 2 miles.
