The fine Cathedral city of Norwich is within easy reach just 10 miles away. The adjoining village of Loddon has a good selection of shops and Pubic Houses with day boat hire available from the nearby staithe. Alternatively you may enjoy the pleasant River Chet Walk to Hardley Cross , which is part of the longer Wherrymans Way Norwich to Great Yarmouth footpath or the National Cycle route 1 both of which run past the property. This area is excellent for wildlife with a number of RSPB and other nature reserves nearby well worth a visit. Fishing in season is available from the nearby river 100yds away. Willow Barn was built over 200 years ago after previously being the village blacksmiths and now provides very attractive quality accommodation, retaining beamed ceilings with wood floors. It is set next to the owners home in large peaceful landscaped gardens which are a haven for wildlife, leading down through an orchard with 2 open ponds to the river Chet.
