Returning visitors to Grasmere will be familiar with walks to Silver Howe, Stone Arthur and Helm Crag whilst first time holiday makers will marvel at the spectacular scenery to be had whilst walking around Grasmere Lake itself. Blessed with its own off road parking space, guests may park up and never need to use the car again for the week as the village caters well for the self catering guests and has some excellent pubs, cafes and restaurants to sample during your stay but do save some room for the world famous Grasmere Gingerbread. The Old Gallery is delightfully presented and ticks all the boxes in terms of what you would expect of a traditional cottage; exposed beams, flagged floors and a woodburning stove all set the scene in this lovely accommodation, cleverly married with a 21st century theme to create a place to relax, unwind and share precious time together.
