It is luxuriously furnished, appointed and equipped, with solid oak flooring, original beams and spacious accommodation for large families or groups of walkers. Situated in a most tranquil position on the Pennine Way, it is along a quiet lane in this pretty village which has a pub serving good quality food and a village shop. Dufton lies on the western edge of the Pennine Hills, 3 miles from Appleby-in-Westmorland at the foot of Dufton Pike. There are many walks and bike rides from the doorstep and the Lake District is within 30 minutes drive.
