Silverthwaite, a traditional Lakeland stone cottage, is tucked away in a fairly residential area of this popular village, ideally placed for enjoying gentle strolls around Windermere whilst taking in an eclectic mix of shops, tea rooms and restaurants or walking down to the Lake shore at Bowness Bay. There is a superb playground close by allowing the younger ones to run off some steam and the area is centrally placed for visiting the popular attractions of South Lakes Wild Animal Park or the Aquarium at Lakeside, a great day out for all the family.
