Rum Bush Cottage is situated in the hamlet of Keisley, just outside the well know village of Dufton on the Pennine Way. It benefits from an elevated position on the edge of the Cumbrian Pennines, with wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding countryside as far as the Lakeland Fells. The cottage was converted in 2011 from a former byre into a charming self catering cottage, with the open plan living accommodation upstairs to take advantage of the glorious views. The area is great for walking and cycling, with footpaths onto the hills from the doorstep. There is a good pub and village shop 2 miles away in Dufton, with many more amenities nearby in the historic town of Appleby.
