Accommodation
A traditional 19th century Lakeland stone cottage which has been lovingly furnished to provide a perfect combination of comfort and style. Troutbeck Bridge is a great base from where to explore a host of Lakeland attractions. Mid way between Windermere and Ambleside, holiday makers can sample the Roman Fort at Ambleside, Brockhole Visitors centre and take in some impressive high-level views over Windermere Lake from the Troutbeck valley, all within manageable walking distance of the cottage or an easy drive. Taking it's name from the local pure bred breed of sheep, Herdwick Cottage is warm and welcoming and provides comfortable traditional accommodation. The cottage benefits from a decked garden to the rear which is perfect for relaxing in and surveying the views of the surrounding hills.
