Herald Cottage is a traditional Lakeland stone cottage in a quiet courtyard right in the centre of Ambleside.It has a fantastic location both for those people wishing to relax and enjoy the amenities of Ambleside and for those who wish to get out onto the hills. The cottage has been refurbished with the outdoor enthusiast in mind. It now has a large drying room in case you get caught out in a shower (due for completion December 2010), a sauna to help you warm up after a cold day on the fells and an open fire to relax in front of whilst planning your next days activities.
