Description

Accommodation
Burrow Cottage, part of the former Burrow Hall dates back to the 18th century and is midway between the medieval town of Kendal (3 miles) and the popular resorts of Windermere and Bowness (6 miles). The location, just off the A591 is ideal for touring both the Lake and Dales. Staveley is a mile away and has a great selection of traditional pubs, most serving homemade food and local ales. Of course, your pet is also most welcome here at Burrow Cottage and plenty of opportunities for lovely long walks are on hand and for those anglers among you, Ratherheath Tarn, well stocked with carp, perch and bream is very close by.
