The area offers good walking and cycling opportunities and if ornithology is a passion then Dersingham boasts its own English Nature Reserve, with Holme - Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Titchwell and Snettisham -RSPB reserves a short distance away. The village has a wide variety of local shops and pubs, which serve food.
