Archway Cottage is a very special love nest for two, tucked away from the hustle and bustle in the older conservation area of the village, yet only a stones throw from the very heart of Ambleside. This popular village is the perfect choice for the first time and returning visitor and has an excellent selection of shops, bars and award wining restaurants and traditional pubs serving speciality beers, home cooked fayre and with the occasional live music in the evenings. Walks for all abilities can be enjoyed straight from the door onto the slopes of Wansfell, Loughrigg and the Fairfield Horseshoe.
