Acorn Cottage is a beautiful 17th Century barn conversion nestling in a rural position between the pretty North York Moors villages of Aislaby and Egton and has been equipped and furnished to a high standard. The cottage affords excellent views over the Esk Valley with a direct footpath walk leading to the Old Priory at Grosmont, terminus of the North York Moors Steam Railway line. An abundance of pretty villages within the National Park attract visitors all year round, in particular Goathland, alias Aidensfield in the popular TV series of Heartbeat. For those wishing to venture a little further, Whitby, Pickering and Scarborough are easily accessible, and the Dalby Forest complete with visitor centre promises an enjoyable days outing.
