Abbey View is a newly built, modern cottage that has been decorated and furnished to a particularly high standard and is situated in a perfect position just five minutes walk into the town centre of Whitby. It sits opposite the railway line and has excellent views of Whitby Abbey and the harbour. The beautiful fishing port of Whitby has plenty to offer with a large selection of pubs, quaint antique and gift shops, the famous fish and chip shops and three miles of golden sandy beach. A holiday here is perfect for families or for couples looking to relax and enjoy the ample restaurants with their awards for excellent cuisine. Whitby is surrounded by spectacular scenery of the North York Moors which you can enjoy by taking either the Esk Valley train that takes you to Middlesbrough stopping at the pretty villages along the way, or the excellent North York Moors steam train that will take you from Whitby to the lovely market town of Pickering stopping off at Goathland otherwise known as Heartbeat Country. The lovely coastal resorts of Sandsend, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay are all within close proximity and are well worth a visit.
