This 2 bedroom end of terrace cottage is situated in the heart of the village of Braithwaite which lies 2 miles to the west of Keswick. Braithwaite is a perfect base for walkers with so many walking and climbing opportunities on the doorstep, including Causey Pike, Grizedale Pike and Skiddaw. The Whinlatter Pass and forest rise up from Braithwaite and is particularly popular with mountain bikers as well as walkers. The Whinlatter Visitor Centre is well worth a visit. Braithwaite has a village shop, two good pubs serving excellent food and a restaurant. Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake are each within 2 miles and the nearby bustling tourist town of Keswick with a wealth of amenities.
