The former school at Troutbeck Bridge was converted some twenty years ago and the Victorian school building, including the chapel and head masters house, have been successfully transformed into four delightful cottages, full of character and charm. A popular pub, The Sun Inn, is just around the corner serving great bar meals, although there is an excellent Spar shop across the road for those who wish to self cater at some point during your stay.
