Canterbury offers good shops and restaurants, as well as its magnificent cathedral, and there are easy day-trips to France from Dover or Ramsgate (both within 14 miles). Blean Woods Nature Reserve close by, housing Britain’s largest colony of nightingales. Shop 1 mile, pub 2 miles. Level access to small, modern fitted kitchen. Step up to cosy living/dining room with electric ‘wood-burner’ in brick fireplace and countryside views. Double bedroom with step down to en-suite shower room and toilet. Beamed throughout.
