Nestled within the heart of the Quantock Hills, one of the first designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, these two detached thatched period cottages with log fires (EUY with Aga stove) boast magnificent views from every window. The ideal base to explore the unspoilt Quantock Hills, the native red deer, Exmoor and the North Devon coast. Famous beautiful NT houses and gardens, with plenty of child-friendly country pubs, steam trains and activity centres a short drive. The Quantock Hills offer marvellous peaceful all day walking, with the Coleridge Way on the doorstep, cycling with secret all day bike routes. The owners’ outdoor swimming pool available June to Sept. A short walk is the proprietor’s Pony Club approved centre offering own a pony for the day over the week ends, with riding and pony club activities for both children and adults. Minehead’s sandy beaches, Dunster medieval town, quaint shops and National Trust castle, Watchets Harbour, sailing, fishing trips, cafés and shops within 20 minutes. Cream teas, village shop, post office and pub 1 mile.
